BYNOLYT EAGLE II 8X56 DCF
For some applications such as use during dusk or by night, guarding buildings or sites and wild animal counting under poor lighting conditions, it is of great importance to have binoculars that combine enough magnification with strong brightness. This demands large objectives and large enough exit pupils, this means 7 mm.
However, binoculars with large objectives of 56 mm are usually very heavy. By using roof prisms (Abbe-König) and a special body construction, the designers have succeeded in combining excellent brightness with a relatively light, slim and constructively strong body construction in the EAGLE binoculars. The high brightness is the result of a large exit pupil, which can be fully utilized thanks to the multiple coatings on the optical components. Because of this, the amount of light, which is let through the binoculars, is much higher in comparison to optics with single layer coatings. The roof prisms are also provided with a so-called phase coating for full image sharpness. To prevent internal reflection and ghost images, the prisms also have a special protection. The combination of all these factors make the EAGLE bright and sharp binoculars.
The wide focus control can be adjusted easily, even while wearing gloves. The eye pieces have a large eye relief through which spectacle wearers can clearly oversee the entire field of view of 114 meters (6,5 degrees) at 1000 meters. The binoculars have rotating eyepiece hoods especially for spectacle wearers. The EAGLES are filled with dry nitrogen gas to safeguard against internal moisture and they are waterproof. The binoculars are often used in dusky and wet circumstances during which moisture or rain drops appear on the front lens. Due to the innovating Hydrophobic coating this belongs to the past: the moisture will easily drip down your lens.
The very bright optics with its great achievements and sublime quality combined with relatively large magnification, 25 years guarantee and a practical soft case make the EAGLE binoculars a valuable and desirable possession.
