The Seagull 8x24 DCF is the smallest and lightest of the three models. It focuses as close as 2.8 metres. The field of view is 109 metres and the weight is only 240 grams. Even for a roof prism instrument, that is very light indeed. Very comfortable to carry, it has one small disadvantage - you'll always have to check you have it with you, because you won't notice it!

The Seagull 10x28 DCF is for the observer who wants somewhat higher power without too many concessions to brightness. Despite the larger lenses, this instrument is lighter than many other binoculars. The 10x28 handles pleasantly and is still very portable. Even mountaineers, who will not want to carry too much, recommend the 10x28 for its magnification, which helps them to view the situation that lies ahead.
